ABOUT THE LAB
We study the phylogeny and systematics of marine animal groups such as annelids and crinoid echinoderms. Some of our focuses include leafy and weedy seadragons, as well as the biology of the extraordinary bone-eating worms, Osedax. We address questions concerning the evolution of reproductive mechanisms, co-phylogeny, cryptic species, biogeography and phylogeography.
